Shipping & Delivery

We deliver to all and any postal address around the world through major courier services. 

Domestic Shipping:

WE OFFER FREE SHIPPING IN INDIA on orders above Rs.1500. Please allow 1-3 working days for your order to be dispatched. Normally orders placed before 1pm on a business day, we aim to ship the same day, provided card security checks are complete, payment received and stock availability is confirmed. Orders placed after 1pm will be shipped the next business day. Orders Received on Sunday or during Holidays are dispatched the following Monday or next working day. During busy times, such as holiday periods, there can be processing and shipping delays.

The orders cannot be shipped to PO boxes or military addresses. Rural domestic addresses require one or more additional days to deliver. Orders requiring any customization will require additional time and will be shipped in 10 working days.

For shipments delivered outside ANDHRA PRADESH, the customer’s state may charge an OCTORI Duty on the top of the price of the item. These charges are beyond our control and can’t be reimbursed.

Domestic customers are responsible for any OCTORI Duty charged by your state government. We are unable to predict which shipments will be assessed these fees or the amount of the fee that may be charged. In cases of refusal, either the cost of the goods or return service costs will be assessed.

International Shipping:

International shipping charges are mentioned on our website.  Shipping charges and transit time will vary, depending on the location. All international packages are shipped via DHL / FedEx /other professional couriers. All transit times are Monday to Saturday. International delivery cannot be guaranteed within a time frame due to customs. Courier companies do not deliver to P.O.Box address, so we request you to provide full street address with pin code / zip code.

International delivery time is approximately 5 to 7 days. 

Please note that residential shipments to USA & some other countries will be left at door if someone is not there to receive the package or no one answers the door bell. Our courier agents will not be able to provide sign confirmation of delivery made in such cases. To ensure that no disputes arise due to this, kindly make sure that someone is there to receive the package when courier delivery is attempted.

For some shipments delivered outside the India, the importing country may charge an import duty/VAT on top of the price of the item. These charges are beyond our control and can’t be reimbursed.

International customers are responsible for any import or customs fees charged by your government. We are unable to predict which shipments will be assessed these fees or the amount of the fee that may be charged.

With respect to each item for which Import duty fees have been calculated, you authorize VaVarna to designate a courier company or freight forwarder to act as your agent with the relevant customs and tax authorities in the destination country, to clear your merchandise, process and remit your actual Import duty fees for such item. The import duty may be collected by Courier Company on or before delivery.

International Returns:

Items must be returned in their original packaging and in a re-saleable condition within 7 days of receipt of your goods. VaVarna does not reimburse any customs or import duties, brokerage fees, or taxes paid on shipments. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer. As indicated in our refund policy guidelines, if the item is to be refunded, we will refund the purchase price paid for the item sans any discount opted and any shipping costs, duties, fees, or taxes. In addition, VaVarna reserves the right to charge you for any import duty or taxes paid while goods are returned if we are charged by custom department for recovering the returned package. You are responsible for all the costs associated with returning the goods back to us. Your refund will be processed once we receive your returned item.

Note:  If you return a product to us, you'll be the exporter from the original shipping destination responsible for compliance with all export laws of that country. Title and risk of loss transfer to us upon receipt at our warehouse. 

When you return goods, please mark your parcel as "returned goods" otherwise it may get held up at customs which will cause your refund to be delayed.

Limitations:

For products shipped internationally, please note that any manufacturer warranty may not be valid; the products may not be designed in accordance with destination country standards, specifications, and labelling requirements; You are responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. When ordering from VaVarna, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.

Privacy:

Your privacy is important to us, and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international customers and customers shipping products internationally to be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs and/or postal authorities.

Also, we may provide certain order, shipment, and product information, such as titles, to our international carriers, and such information may be communicated by the carriers to customs and/or postal authorities in order to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws.

Shipment & Tracking:

An e-mail containing your package tracking information will be sent after shipment is handed to the courier company. Tracking numbers for orders shipped might take 24 business hours to become active on the courier websites

Be Extra Alert when Accepting Parcel from Courier:

If the outer packing is damaged or tampered with, do verify the items quality and quantity against the invoice before accepting the package from the courier agency. In case of any discrepancy, either refuse to accept delivery or accept delivery only after putting a suitable remark on the proof of delivery. Also lodge a formal complaint with the local courier agency office so that we may sort the issue out with them. 

Address change requests:

Once an order is registered, you cannot make any alterations. However, address alteration requests may be accommodated within 24 hours of placing the order. You may send your alteration request to support@vavarna.com and the needful will be done.

Multiple address order:

Currently this option is not available. However, if you want to send the product to different addresses, you can place multiple orders.

Incorrect or Incomplete Address:

Please note: some courier companies charge a penalty for incorrect shipping addresses, wherein the address and zip code do not match. The customer will, without exception, bear the cost of any such penalties and/or fees, not VaVarna. Please ensure that your shipping address is correct.

In the event of a reshipment of the same order, customers will be responsible to pay re-shipping charges for the reshipment.

Time to ship:

For each item we have mentioned expected time to dispatch along with the item image. These are only indicative and approximate values, and items can be shipped earlier or later on case to case basis depending on availability of item and other factors.

It is advisable to email us with the item codes to get more accurate time to dispatch estimate.

We are proud to offer such shipping values to our customers, especially when paired with our fast delivery times. In most cases, your order will be processed within 48-72 hours of your placing it. You can expect to receive your order, on average, within 7 -15 business days of placing the order

If there is a delay in shipping:

The Time to Dispatch as mentioned on our website against each item is an approximate count of days it would take to dispatch the order from our warehouse.

If, for any reason, there is going to be a delay in shipping because an item is 'Sold Out' or if there is an unusual delay in filling an order, we will notify you by e-mail. We may also choose to deliver your order in multiple consignments (for multiple item orders with differing "Time to Dispatch"). In some cases, we would offer to refund you for unfulfilled part of the order in case of our inability to resolve the order within a reasonable period of time.

At times, due to situations beyond our control, delays may occur. Refund, Returns, Replacement & Exchange would not be entertained in case of such scenarios. However, benefits such as VaVarna Gift Card or Store Credit would be provided on a case-to-case basis. These can be used for future shopping on the site.
